Ahuntsic is the name of a federal electoral district in Quebec, Canada. Its population is 99,848. (2001)
Geography
The district includes the neighbourhoods of Ahuntsic and Bordeaux and the western part of the neighbourhood of Sault-au-Recollet in the City of Montreal.
History
The electoral district of Ahuntsic was created in 1966 from Saint-Denis and Laval. In 1976, the district of Saint-Michel—Ahuntsic was created from Ahuntsic and Saint-Michel. In 1987, the new district of Ahuntsic was created from Saint-Michel—Ahuntsic and Saint-Denis.
