Based on the eponymous 1998 novel by Nicholas Sparks, A Walk to Remember is a 2002 movie set in the mid 1990s, about the guileless young daughter of a Baptist minister, Jamie Sullivan (Moore), who has leukemia and befriends a jaded, aimless high school senior, Landon Carter (West). Through a series of heartwarming events, Jamie changes Landon's life forever. The movie takes place in Beaufort, North Carolina.
This movie didn't go over well with critics, but viewers loved it.
